If you have issues that have relations with other issues, you have the ability to label them for easy identification and planning of your roadmap.
Possible dependencies include:
- Issue blocking other issues
- Issue(s) blocked by another issue
- Issues that are related to each other
Issue Blocking Other Issues
This means that an issue will be blocking the progress of other issues. The issue it is blocking cannot progress until that issue is done. To mark an issue as blocking other issues, you can use the keyboard shortcut X.
Issues that are being blocked appear in the issue card.
Issue(s) Blocked by Another Issue
Issues whose progress is blocked by other issues. Until the blocking issue is done, they can’t be worked on. To mark an issue as blocked by another issue, you can use the keyboard shortcut B.
Issues that are blocking appear in the issue card.
Related Issues
These are issues whose goals are somehow linked.To mark an issue as related with another issue, you can use the keyboard shortcut L.
Issues that are related appear in the issue card.
Setting Up Dependencies Between Issues
Open an issue card > click on the ellipses in the top right corner of the card.
Dependencies Between Issues in Different Prioritization Boards
If you have issues that are related, but are in different boards, you still have the ability to set dependencies between those issues.
