Connect

Connect Linear to Ducalis to import projects, initiatives, or issues for prioritization. Once connected, data syncs continuously between both systems.

Connect Linear​

  1. In your Board, go to Sync settings.

  2. Scroll down to Sync In and click Connect Issue Tracker.

  3. Under Source, select Linear, then click Connect Linear.

  4. Choose your Linear instance and click Import.

  5. Authorize Ducalis to access your Linear account.

After connecting, import projects, initiatives, or issues from Linear.

Import projects​

  1. Select Projects as the entity level to import.

  2. Apply filters to choose which projects to import. Select only required fields.

    You can filter projects by:

    • Labels — workspace-wide labels applied to projects. All labels are shared across the entire workspace, so the filter shows every project label available.
    • Status, Team, and other standard Linear project fields.

    If Labels do not appear in the filter list, refresh the page.

  3. Click Start Import.

Project sync is real-time. When a label is added to or removed from a project in Linear, the change is reflected in the Board automatically — there is no manual re-import.

Import initiatives​

  1. Select Initiatives as the entity level to import.

  2. Apply filters to choose which initiatives to import. Select only required fields.

  3. Click Start Import.

Import issues​

  1. Select Issues as the entity level to import.

  2. Apply filters to choose which issues to import.

Edit sync filters​

Edit sync filters to:

  • Import more issues from Linear to the same Board
  • Remove issues from a Board without disconnecting the integration

To edit sync filters:

  1. Go to Sync settings.

  2. Scroll down to Sync, then click Edit Sync-In Conditions.

  3. Add or remove filters to adjust which issues sync.

  4. Click Save to apply your changes.
