Bulk Actions Using AI

The AI assistant and the MCP integration let you make bulk actions across Ducalis data—Ideas, Issues, criteria, users, and more—in one request instead of updating each item by hand.

Instead of opening dozens of items one at a time, describe what you want in natural language. The assistant finds the matching items and applies the change to all of them.

Use bulk actions with AI to:

  • Set up boards and their descriptions in one pass

  • Apply labels and assignees across many Issues or Ideas at once

  • Publish, search, tag, or clean up backlog and voting board items in bulk, etc.

How to run a bulk action​

  1. Open the AI assistant, or connect to Ducalis from an MCP-enabled tool.
  2. Describe the bulk action you want, including which items it should apply to.
  3. Review what the assistant found and confirm before it applies the change.

Create and Name Boards​

Ask the assistant to create several boards at once and give each one a name.

Prompt example: "Create three boards named Product Backlog, Customer Requests, and Tech Debt."

Have the assistant write or update descriptions for multiple boards in one request.

Prompt example: "Add a short description to every board that doesn't have one yet."

Turn Voting Boards On or Off​

Enable or disable the Voting Board setting across several boards at once.

Prompt example: "Turn on the Voting Board for all boards in the workspace."

Create Labels​

Create a set of labels in one request instead of adding them one by one.
