There are currently two options on how people can get into your Ducalis organization:
- Users can register with your domain name.
- Users can get by invitation only.
The default setting depends on the email address of the owner of the organization:
- if they have a public domain, it’s ‘Invitation only’.
- if they have a corporate domain, it’s ‘Open to anyone with a certain corporate domain’.
You can easily change the default sign-up mode.
Invitation Only
‘Invitation only’ mode means that teammates can get into your Ducalis organization only via the personal invite link you have to send them. Read more about invitation options.
If a teammate signs up with your corporate domain, they will create a new Ducalis organization. They will not get into the one you’ve already created.
To Set Up the ‘Invitation Only‘ Mode
- On the dashboard, hover over to the left-side menu and click on Settings.
- Under Security, scroll down to Account users signup mode.
- Switch to ‘Invitation Only’
Open To Anyone With a Certain Domain
The ‘Open to anyone with a certain domain’ mode means that anyone who tries to register with the domains you specify can easily get into your organization.
When the person tries to sign up, they will be shown that your organization exists and are given an option to join or go on and
- if they click ‘Yes, join [YourOrgName]’ they will become a member of your organization.
- if they click ‘No, skip’ they will then go on to create a new organization.
You will still be able to use the invitation options and invite people with public or other corporate domains.
To Set Up the ‘Open to anyone With a Certain Domain’ Mode
- Under Settings, scroll down to Member signup mode.
- Switch to ‘Open to anyone with a certain domain’
- Specify the corporate domain(s) your teammates will use to register.
- Choose a role that the users who join will be assigned.
