Users in an organization can have different roles. Roles give users permission and restrictions to do certain things in an organization. When you invite your teammates to your organization, you have the ability to assign them a particular role.
Available User Roles
- Owner – is the user who creates the Ducalis account. To change the owner of your account, please get in touch with us in the chat below.
- Admin – the user with full access to settings, boards, billing, and invite other members.
- Member – the user with access to evaluation, issues, and ideas creation but cannot edit settings or add members.
- Viewer – the user who has read-only access. The role is useful for teammates who are not directly involved in backlog prioritization but need to check priorities within the account occasionally.
- Voter – This term applies to external users, such as your customers for example, and don’t have access to your full account but can participate on your public Voting Board (like this example: https://feedback.ducalis.io/ducalis-roadmap). Voters on this board can only post and upvote ideas. There’s no limit to the number of voters, and you never incur any charges for them.
