Step 4. Custom Domain for Emails

Send release notes and notifications from your company's email address to increase open rates and build trust with your subscribers.

When you configure a custom domain, all emails sent to Voting Board subscribers use your company address instead of a generic sender. This includes release notes, Idea status updates, comments, and other notifications.

Contact support to set up a custom domain. This feature requires DNS configuration and cannot be self-configured.

Custom email address format

Your custom email address follows this pattern: username@yourcompany.com

Example: If your company is GLD café, your email address would be pgash@gldcafe.com.

Setup process

Configure DNS settings for your domain (support will provide specific records to add).
Provide your organization information for email footers (company name, address, contact details).
