Push issues

Create Linear issues directly from your Ducalis Board or Voting Board Ideas without leaving your workflow.

Prerequisites

Complete Connect Linear first.

You can push to Linear:

  • Issues from Backlog
  • Ideas from Voting Boards

Push Backlog Issues​

Issues created in Ducalis display the Ducalis icon, while imported Linear issues show the Linear icon.

  1. Select the Issue you want to push to Linear.

  2. Click Details to open the Issue card (or press ]).

  3. Click the ellipsis button, then select Push to Linear.

  4. Fill in the Linear fields: Team, Project, Issue title, Description, Status, Assignee, Labels, Cycle, Priority, and Estimate.

  5. Click Create issue.

The Issue now exists in both Ducalis and Linear.

If the pushed Issue doesn't match your Import filters, it won't appear in Ducalis. Adjust your Import filters to see it.

Push Voting Board ideas​

Convert Ideas from your Voting Board into Linear issues.

  1. Open your Board and go to Public ideas.

  2. Select the Idea you want to push to Linear.

  3. Click +New, then select In Linear (Linked with Ducalis).

  4. Fill in the Issue details.

  5. Click Create issue.

The Issue appears in both your Board and Linear backlog.

If the pushed Issue doesn't match your Import filters, it won't appear in Ducalis. Adjust your Import filters to see it.
