This guide is for invited admins and members to get started with scoring backlog issues.
If you were invited by your teammates, and you still don’t know where to start from, here’s a guide to help you get started.
Accessing to the prioritization boards
From the dashboard, select the board you were invited to. You can be added to as many boards as needed. You can filter them using fast filter “My estimations”.

Where To See The List Of Issues
In the board, under “Backlog”, you will see a list of issues added by your teammates. The issues may have been manually created in Ducalis, or imported from your corporate task tracker that your team uses.

If other members in the board have already evaluated the issues, the issues will be sorted by order of priority. The total score of each issue is on the far right.

The top priority issues are the starred ones.

Click on an issue to get a detailed description on it.

Where To Evaluate Issues
To start evaluating issues for prioritization, select the “Evaluation”.

Evaluate issues using the criteria set by your admin. For example, consider how relevant an issue is and how important it is.

Use the criteria description as a guide and put a score in the cell under each criterion.

Asking a Question
While evaluating, you can ask a question about an issue or a criterion that you want clarification on. Say, for example, you don’t understand this task.
Click icon, choose a user and type your question to a teammate. The person you direct the questions to will be instantly notified.

If there are any questions asked, or discussions held in the board, you can view them under “Questions”.

Even join in a discussion if you have a similar question to the asked.

Skip Issue Scoring
You can also skip evaluating an issue, for example, if you don’t understand it or don’t have any information about it.
Click in icon, the issue will be moved to “Scores” tab.

Where to Change Issue Scores
Go to “Evaluation → Scores” to see the tasks you evaluated, and maybe re-evaluate if there is need.

Ducalis Prioritization is a continuous cycle, to stay on track, set up notifications to get reminders to evaluate tasks, alerts on new questions and upcoming meetings and overall to stay on track with what’s going in the board.
