When you copy/move the tasks from one board to another, you also want to transfer the scores so that you do not have to repeat the evaluation process.
Conditions for Saving the Scores
For the scores under each criterion to transfer along with tasks, each criterion in the recipient board must be merged in Criteria Management. To merge criteria and retain the scores, each criterion must have the same:
- name,
- rating scale,
- formula,
- criterion estimators
What Will Happen to the Scores
When you copy or move an issue from one board to another, you can see the scores that will be transferred.
Only Scores from merged criteria (see here Criteria Management) will transfer to the new board.
If you return the issues to this board, the scores will be restored on this current board.
A copied issue in the recipient board together with scores that were transferred with it.
What If The Estimators Are Different Across These Two Boards?
For the scores to be copied/moved to another board together with an issue, the estimators assigned to the criterion in Board A should be the ones who are assigned to the same criterion in Board B.
Any difference in the estimators assigned to the criteria results in scores being lost.
You can also transfer criteria from one board to another on the Global Criteria Management page. On this page, you can copy multiple criteria to another board at once.
