Voter notifications
Voters receive email notifications to stay updated on Voting Board activity. Notifications are sent when changes occur to Ideas they created, voted for, or commented on. Voters typically receive notifications within 30 minutes of the activity.
Configure notification settings
Voters can manage their notification preferences directly from the Voting Board.

Click your username in the top-right corner of the Voting Board.

Select Notifications from the left menu.
Voters can disable any notification by clicking the envelope icon.
Notification types
Status changes
When an Idea's progress status updates, Voters who created or voted for the Idea receive email notifications.
Comments
When a comment is added to an Idea, email notifications are sent based on who commented and where:
Admin general comments:
When an Admin leaves a general comment under an Idea, everyone who upvoted and all mentioned Voters are notified.
Voter general comments:
When a Voter leaves a general comment, only Admins and mentioned Voters are notified.
Admin thread replies:
When an Admin replies to a comment thread, everyone in the thread and all mentioned Voters are notified.
Voter thread replies:
When a Voter replies to a comment thread, everyone in the thread, all Admins, and all mentioned Voters are notified.
Idea merges
When two Ideas are merged, everyone who voted for the merged Idea receives an email notification.
Idea removal
When an Idea is removed from the Voting Board, only the author receives an email notification.
Mentions
When a Voter is mentioned in a comment, they receive an email notification.
Proxy voting
When an Admin votes on behalf of a Voter, the Voter receives an email notification.
Author assignment
When a Voter is assigned as the author of an Idea, they receive an email notification.
Release notes
Voters receive release notes if they're subscribed. Voters are automatically subscribed when they create or vote on an Idea. They can also subscribe manually using the subscribe button.
These two types of newsletters are sent according to the schedule you set up.
Disable notifications
All notifications are enabled by default. Voters can disable them individually or completely.

Click your profile, then select Notifications from the dropdown menu.

View all enabled notifications on the settings page.

Toggle individual notifications off to stop receiving specific updates.
You can also disable all notifications at once using the master toggle.
